Mom's Girl

This is an acrylic layout created using Clear Scraps acrylic XL shape and the gorgeous pattern papers by Far Flung Craft. The pattern papers are perfect for this photograph which was taken during Chinese New Year.

Here are the details.

I've cut out some flowers from the pattern paper to attach all over the layout.

I've cut out several layers of flowers using the pattern paper and ink their edges with distress ink. Fold up their petals and attach them together to the layout using a mini brad.

I've also added a crystal swirl among the flowers.

I've stamped on the left of the layout using some trees and plant stamps with black solvent ink. Later, I've decorate it with some red pearl gel pen.

To detail the edges of the acrylic base of this layout, I've used some pearl gel pen to doodle some dots on it. I've also stamped some small flowers using white solvent ink all around the edges.
