Today, I would like to share a little toot with you all. I'm finally published in a French magazine, Passion Scrapbooking. I've been interviewed and they've published a number of my projects in it.

I'm so excited and can't wait to get my copy in the mail. If you're interested in getting a copy, it will be release in the stand on 29th September in France and 30th September in Belgium.

Memento Altered Box

This is an altered box that I've created using tons of Tim Holtz products. I've actually shared about the altered tag in one of my older post. The tag is to secure the box and could also be used as a gift tag.

Below are some close-ups on the altered box.

I've embossed some grunge paper using Tim Holtz texture fades embossing folder and later inks them with distress ink. I've cut them into strips to attach around the edges of the cover. I've also added some metal corners to the corners of the cover.

Since it is a "memento" box, "time" is definitely important here. So I've added a metal time piece with spinners and gears. To add some colours to the metal foliage, I've painted the mini brad and the center of the foliage with alcohol ink.
I've added a compass sticker from Tim Holtz salvage stickers collection on the cover, I've attached it onto a grungeboard and later stitched around it's edges. I've added a memo pin on it as the direction needle and cover it with Glossy Accent. I've embossed a metal sheet using another texture fades embossing folder and attached it onto the surface cover. Another symbol of "memento" would be the film strip. I've added some cut-outs from a pattern paper to some of the film windows.

Hope you all find this project to be inspiring.

Her Passion Mini Album

This is a mini album that I've created using Clear Scraps acrylic pennant banners. I've also used some gorgeous stamps by Stamp Enjoy and the gorgeous papers by Scrap Within Reach

Below are some details and pages in this album.
I've used an acrylic tag to hold part of the title of the album.

The flower vine is from Kay's Kreative Korner etsy store. This cute stamp is from Stamp Enjoy. I've stamped it using solvent ink and colour it using Copic markers. The crystal dragonfly is from Accent Creative Designs.

We don't actually have much use for banners around our house. Therefore, instead of a banner, I've used it to create a mini album . Clear Scraps do carry some cute and beautiful banners that would also work great as a mini album or as embellishment on layouts and projects.

Check back tomorrow for another project with tons of Tim Holtz products!

Today we finally took Hiro to get his bath. See how sparkly clean he is in this picture above. He is so charming!! We ended up doing a photo shoot session with him....LOL! Below are more shots of him.

Isn't he handsome? No wonder he has fans everywhere! Even around our neighbourhood here!

And here's a shot of his cute little paws! He is such a sweetheart!

We could not get an appointment for his annual booster vaccination this week. Therefore, he will be taking it next week. Hope you all like today's update on Hiro and check back again next week for more projects from me.

Your Big Day

It has been ages since my last two-pager but the cute and bold line, Whoo-ligans, of Bo Bunny has inspired me to create the above two-pager on Chloe's Birthday. Now, who says that we can only use Halloween themed papers for Halloween layouts or projects?

Below are some close-ups.
I've masked some flourishes on the top and bottom of the layout. I've used some Bo Bunny's chipboard alphas and alpha stickers to create the title and detailed them with stitches and Stickles.

I've cut out some small cute images from the pattern paper and use them to create a banner on the top left of the layout.

Aren't these the cutest monsters?

I know that this paper line is not my norm but it's really fun and inspires me in such a different way. I've still much to learn in creating two-pagers and hope this is not too disappointing to you all.

This is my second DT project for Bo Bunny. This card is also created using the gorgeous Cambridge line.

In the close-up above, I've hand stitched around a chipboard circle on the card and embellishment around it using some cut-outs, stickers and stamped images.

I'll really love working using this line. Hope you all like it too.

Sh...

This is my first DT project for Bo Bunny after joining their team this September. The topic of this assignment is to scrap your "Secret Indulgence". Well, I must admit that this is a very lame indulgence but it's also a very true one to me and I believe to many others too.

I've used the Cambridge line by Bo Bunny to create this layout. This is one of my favourite line among the rest. It's more artsy and grungy looking.

Here are some details on it.
I've used the Cambridge line's clearly stamps to create the wings and the banner below it. I've also stamped on the Bo Bunny's chipboard alphas to create more details on it.

I've masked a clockand some gears behind the Bo Bunny's clear acrylic ring. I've also added some colours and details to the ring by using pearl pen.

I've added some sticker buttons on the lower right of the layout and detail them with some twines. I've also added a journaling piece on the bottom of the layout.

I've added a cluster of flowers using various kind of flowers and blings by Bo Bunny.

I've also tied some Bo Bunny dotted ribbons on the acrylic ring.

To create a more interesting look on the leather wrap, I've twisted it and secure it with some mini brads.

I really love how all the gorgeous products from this line inspires me. Hope you all are inspired by my layout too!
