Playing with some Editing

I've tried to play with some new photograph editing tools with Hiro's picture this week. I've applied the tool called "Holga-ish" using Picasa photo editing software to the photograph. Isn't this cool? Love how it creates the focus on Hiro's face.

Blow A Kiss

This is a fun colorful layout which I've created sometime ago using Bo Bunny's Alora collection. I've also used some Dusty Attic chippies on it.

Here are some close-ups.

Tip: If the alpha stickers that you have are the same color as the area that you want to attach it on, try painting the area with some paint first and outline the alpha stickers with a black pen. This will make the alpha stickers more visible.

The leaves are actually chippies by Dusty Attic.

Cheesy Kids

Recently, Bo Bunny has requested some simpler layouts from the DTs. This is one of my layout for that assignment. I've used the Hello Sunshine line to create this layout.

Here are some close-ups.

Tip: To create the hexagon photographs, I've used Microsoft Word software. Click on the "Insert" tab and select "Shapes". Choose the hexagon shape and create a hexagon. When you're done, go to the "Drawing Tool" tab and click on "Shape fill". Select "picture" and choose whichever photograph you want to use from your computer. The photograph will automatically fit into the hexagon. You can drag the hewagon to make it bigger or smaller.

(note: to have a better hexagon photograph, try to crop your photograph into a "square" shape first using picture editing software such as Picasa or Photoshop. This will ensure that the subject will still be in the middle of the hexagon.

Hope you all like this simple layout.

Anyway, enough rambling from me. Let's move on to this week's layout tutorial at The Crop Spot! This week's tutorial features the boyish line, "Loyal" by Authentique. I love the tons of greens, blues and browns in this collection.
Here are some details on the layout.
