Enjoy Your Special Day Card

Hello everyone! Have you heard of Little Birdie Crafts? This company had sent me some goodies to play with and this is what I've come up with. This is a light mixed media birthday card using those gorgeous products by Little Birdie Crafts.

Here are more details on this card.

To create more dimension and textures, I've used a stencil and some chipboard pieces by Little Birdie Crafts. The white gesso is able to create some interesting and rough background for the card. To add some colors to the chipboard, I've painted it and later add some glitters to it for some sparkle.

To soften the look and add more layers to the card, I've added tons of paper flowers on the lower left corner of the card.

Thank you so much for dropping by and hope to see you all again soon! Have a great weekend!

Read and Imagine Journal Page

Hi everyone! For today's post,I would like to share something a little different. It's a mixed media art journal page. I've used some products by BoBunny to create this page.

Below are some closer look at it.

To add some dimension and different textures, I've used some wood and metal elements on it. Besides that, I've also used some dimensional paste to create some details on the background.

In the picture above, I've cut out some images from the pattern paper to create a collage look on it. To create the 3 dimensional look, I've added some painting techniques on the background using some paints and inks.

Thank you so much for dropping by and hope you all find this little journal page inspiring. See you all again soon!

Home Wood Album

Hello everyone! It's another Friday and time for me to share another project with you all. For today's post, I would like to share a window wood accordion shaker album by Clear Scraps. This is such a fun and interesting album to create and can easily be displayed at home.

I've painted the frame of the window with white acrylic paint. To further decorate the cover, I've painted a chipboard bicycle with some glitter paste and added it to the cover. This gives more texture and dimension effect. To soften the look, I've used some ribbon, faux moss and paper flowers.

Below are some pictures on the inside of this album.

I've kept it simple so that the recipient of this album could add their photographs to the album. Hope you all find this project inspiring and love it! See you all again soon!

Happy Birthday Exploding Box

Morning everyone! It's another Friday again and for today's blog post, I would like to share with you all another project which I seldom create. It's a birthday album exploding box. This exploding box is a birthday gift as well as an album which consists of pictures taken during the birthday party.

To create this box, I've used pattern papers by MSD and to decorate it, I've used some ribbons and sprayed paper flowers. To add some elegant effect to it, I've used Clear Scraps acrylic butterfly and tag.

To add colors to the butterfly, I've used alcohol ink and later dab some glitter paste to it. To add more sparkle to it, I've used jewels to decorate around the top of the box cover.

Inside the box, I've decorate the middle of it using paper doily and more flowers. There are three layers of flaps on each side of the box.

Each page is decorated either with a photograph, quote, sentiment or space for journaling. I've added acrylic frames on some of the pages too.

This is a great gift. It can just be a gift box with sentiment or as an album to document some memories from an event or a trip. Try it and see you all again soon!
