2012 In Review

This is a 2012 review layout which I've created using Bo Bunny's Powder Mountain collection and some gorgeous crystal flourishes from ZVA Creative. It is more of a layout to document or write what I've achieved in 2012. If you noticed, I've added some small journaling areas on the top left and bottom right of the layout.

Here are some close-ups.

ZVA Creative January Blog Hop (Love Me Layout)

Happy New Year to you! Zva Creative and our talented 2013 Design Team welcome you to our January blog hop! We are very excited about month's hop and are excited to share our new work with you!

Today's Blog Hop begins at Zva Creative's blog! Be sure head on over to check it out! Since many of us live in different time zones around the world, you will find a complete list of all the participating blogs there (in case there is a glitch along the way).

As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals. If you like what you see along the hop you can find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva HERE.

Here is my project to share with you all today!

This is an acrylic base layout. I've used papers from the "All I Ever" collection by 7 Dots Studio and acrylic XL sheet by Clear Scraps. I've added tons of gorgeous pearls and brads from ZVA Creative on this layout.

I've used Art Anthology sorbet to stencil some dimensional leaves on the layout.

Check out this gorgeous pearl flourish and pearl brad by ZVA Creative. The transparent adhesives on these creates an interesting floating effect to this acrylic layout.

I've used two small gem brads by ZVA Creative to form the eyes for the owl in the picture above.

ZVA Creative Supplies Used:

BRBK-02CA-103 (Pearl Brads), CRB-05CB-112 (Flourish - Taupe Pearl), CRS-05CA-111 (Flourish IV - Taupe Pearl), BRBK-02CB-102 (Crystal Brads 1/8" Mix)

If you would like to play along with our design team, just follow along the blog path. I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way!
The Blog Hop starts today, January 28th and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, January 29th.
***Prizes***
Hidden on FIVE of the designer's blogs is a Zva Creative prize package! Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over. All you need to do is leave a comment on this Blog Hop post... you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. However, the more times you comment along the blog hop path, the more chances you will have to win.
The 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, January 30th on Zva Creative's blog. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to Zva's blog on Wednesday to see if you are a winner!
We also thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize! To increase your chances of winning:
* Comment to let us know that you posted on your Facebook page about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva creative products. If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can suggest other products that they don't carry.
*Hop over to Zva's facebook page and "like" our page or leave a comment there to tell us that you stopped by.

The blog hop begins here at Zva Creative's blog. Your next stop is Marilia Lopes. Enjoy!

Lovely (Blue Fern Studios)

Happy Friday! Today's layout from me is my first DT assignment for Blue Fern Studios.

Here are some details on them.

Besides the pattern papers, I've used some Mascils to create the background for this layout.

I've first misted the "Royal Bird Frame" with paints and later, distressed it with some white gesso. For the design of this layout, I"ve cut the frame into two.

Winter Dog

This is an old layout which I've created as a DT assignment for Bo Bunny sometime ago. This layout features the Snowfall collection.

Here are some details on it.

This collection is one of my favorite winter theme collection. If you've got some Winter pictures to scrap, try using this collection. All the glitters on the papers makes your layout looks magical.

Expedition

Today I would like to share a very simple "scene" layout which I've created as a DT assignment for Bo Bunny sometime ago. I've used the Detour collection to create this layout.

Here are some close-ups.

I've added details to the tags and stickers by stitching on them and add liquid pearls to them.

I've used the "extreme punching" technique to distress parts of the layout.

The Detour collection is perfect for this picture of Chloe and Ryan and it is also great for any kind of fun travel or vacation pictures.

Lovely Day Canvas

This is a gift canvas which I've created for a friend during last Christmas. I've used tons of gorgeous Petaloo CMC flowers on this and canvases by Canvas Corp. I've used some stickers and papers by 7 Dots Studio's ,"Hopefully" collection.

Here are some close-ups.

I've misted the fabric flowers with paints and later added some glitter to it.

Have you all tried the fabric CMC flowers? Try playing by misting, painting, inking stenciling, masking or even stamping on them. You will be surprise by the amazing outcome!

Et Cetera

This is a layout which had been published sometime ago. I've created this layout using one of my all time favorite collection by Bo Bunny, 'ET Cetera". I've also used acrylic sheet and frame by Clear Scraps on this layout.

Here are some close-ups on it.

On this layout, I've used the puzzle pieces in the "ET Cetera" collection to create the design.

I've embossed and inked this acrylic frame to give texture and color to it.

The acrylic sheet on this layout create the floating effect for this layout. For those of you going to CHA, have a blast and make sure you check out all the booths with my projects!!!
