Bow with Ruffles

I think most of us would be a little hesitate to use wide or big ribbons on our layouts. Especially if we're trying to tie a bow with it. I think this is also my first time in using a huge ribbon on my layout. In my layout, I've used a big ribbon and create a bow by attaching a decorative brad in the middle of it. I've hand stitched some ruffles on both of it's ends to create more dimensions and textures. These techniques will better adhered the ribbon to the layout and won't present the bow as a huge embellishment on the layout. Hope you all like this technique.
