Natural Bond

Today's layout is a DT layout for Bo Bunny. This layout is for the "Stamping and Sewing" assignment at Bo Bunny's blog. I've used the beautiful Gabrielle line to create this layout.

Here are some close-ups on it.

In the close-up above, I've stamped the chipboard alphas with the Timepiece stamps and solvent ink. I've also hand stitched across these alphas.

I've used the Timepiece clock stamp to stamp on the pattern paper and cut it out. Ink it's edges with distress ink and attach it to the layout with a brad.

In this pictures above, I've used the stamping and masking technique together to create the corners.

I must admit that cutting out these pieces from the pattern paper really takes up some time but I love the outcome.

To create the shadow under the butterfly, I've used the double stamping technique. I stamped once directly on the layout and another on a separate pattern paper. Then, I cut out the butterfly and ink its edges with distress ink. Attach it directly above the first stamped butterfly on the layout.

I've had tons of stamping and stitching fun creating this layout. Hope it inspires you all in someway.

Finally a Hiro's Update

Finally, I'm able to retrieve my files from my crashed laptop with Hiro's pictures from last week. Above is a shot captured last week when Hiro is helping out with getting a pest out from the garden. Yes, a mice! Hiro sniff a mice in the garden and were barking loudly to call for my hubby's help to capture it. It's so interesting seeing both of them make such a great team! They've successfully captured the mice. Of course, after this mission, Hiro was rewarded with a treat!

This is a picture captured this week where he is trying to do some stretching Tai-Chi moves again. Look at that face! He is concentrating so hard! LOL!

Check back tomorrow for another tutorial at The Crop Spot! For those who still wants to try out for my giveaway, simply just click on the giveaway picture on the right of my blog. You all have till end of April!

Another exciting news. If you are a scrapbook store somewhere near Oregon Convention Center and do organize workshops, please email me at scrapperlicious@gmail.com. or if any of you are from there and knows of a store that do organize workshops, please email me too.

Dream Altered Acrylic Album Cover

Above is an acrylic 12"x12" top load album by Clear Scraps which I've altered using tons of inks and stamping. I really love how elegant these albums are. Such a perfect project as a gift or simply as an exhibit in your living room. I've also used some stamps by Vilda Stamps on this altered album cover.

Here are some close-ups to it.

The "Dream" word is actually a small acrylic expression by Clear Scraps too.

The scroll and vintage key are actually stamps by Vilda Stamps. The butterflies is sponsored by Kay's Kreative Korner etsy store

These gorgeous flowers are by Accent Creative Designs.

Hope you all like this project and feel inspired. Now, get one of these gorgeous acrylic top load albums and alter it! Have fun!

Berry Sweet

It has been a little difficult to get my posts pre-scheduled in time without my laptop. My netbook is just too old and can't support many sites and software. I'm just trying my best at this moment to get everything done as usual.

Today's layout features the acrylic XL shape by Clear Scraps and the cute paper line by Imaginisce. I also have a chance to play with the Irock tool and Irock gems by them while creating this layout. Thank you Imaginisce swapping these awesome products with Clear Scraps.

Here are some close-ups on this layout.

I've highlighted the acrylic XL shape using a Zig Painty marker and some Magic Mesh.

This swirl is created using the Irock tool and some Irock metal gems. The tip on applying Irock gems on acrylic surfaces is to create a rough surface for it to attach to. Use a sharp tip or tweezers to make a small rough dots or dent before attaching the gem onto the acrylic.

I had so much fun creating this bright and cute layout. Hope you all like it. Thank you so much for still checking on my blog daily. I'll still keep praying for a miracle on a new laptop.

It's time for me to share my first ever official DT project for Shimmerz Paints. The above layout is fully inspired by the fun paints from Shimmerz Paints. Here are some close-ups on it.

This butterfly is sponsored by Kay's Kreative Korner etsy store.

These flowers were misted with Shimmerz Paints for some shimmery effect and colours.

Sorry on Hiro's Update.

Hello everyone! I'm so sorry but there would not be a picture or shot update on Hiro today. My beloved laptop crashed three days ago and some of his latest shots went with it. I've also lost some of my important files. I know we should always try to backup our work but I've had tons of assignments this last few weeks that I've totally forgotten about that....sigh... This is my first laptop and it has been an amazing one. I've used it ever since I've started this blog which is about 4 year ago. I've used it almost everyday and about 8-10 hours a day. It's a HP Pavilion.

At this moment, I would just have to resort to a very old and slow mini netbook till I can afford to get another laptop. I know, it's going to be a very difficult tasks to maintain my daily cyber work without my efficient laptop. Maybe, if I keep praying, some awesome laptop company would sponsor me an amazing laptop for my heavy cyber job! I'm really praying hard and perhaps miracle will happened.

I will try to continue update and share my work online using my mini netbook and hope you all would not mind if there are some issues on timing and late updates. Sorry about not having an update shot on Hiro for this week. Hiro's update will be back next week.

Don't forget that I'm having a Dusty Attic giveaway now. Go and try your luck to win some of the gorgeous Dusty Attic chippies!!!

Birthday Invitation Purse

This is a Birthday invitation purse that I've created using Bo Bunny's cool Timepiece line. Normally, all invitations would be put aside or thrown away after being delivered but I wanted to create an invitation that one could use it over and over again and the recipient would cherish it.

Therefore, I've created this purse invitation instead of the regular invitation cards. Below are some close-ups on it.

This invitation purse could also be used to put your small souvenirs or invitation gifts in it. Try creating a more fun and creative invitations for your next event! Check back tomorrow for a new giveaway!

Little Prayer

This is my first layout using Swirlydoos Bella Volo kit. I really love the gorgeous Gabrielle line by Bo Bunny featured in this kit.

I've also used some gorgeous chippies (wings and leaves) by Dusty Attic.

To add a little shimmer to this layout, I've used tons of Shimmerz here. I've misted the layout with coloringz and spritz. I've also used some Shimmerz paint to paint the chippies and on the drawn circles.

In the close-ups above, I've used some beautiful vintage stamps by Stamp Enjoy on this layout.

Hope you all like this layout. I'll continue to share more layout using this kit soon!
