ZVA Creative April DT Blog Hop

ZVA Creative and my fellow Design Team members welcome you to our April blog hop! We are excited and happy you are joining us and look forward to sharing our new work with you!

Today's blog hop begins at ZVA Creative's Facebook Page! Be sure head on over to check it out! You will also find a complete list of all the participating blogs there (in case there is a glitch along the way)

As you know ZVA offers many beautiful colors groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals. If you like what you see along the hop you can find a list of stores and online retailers that selll ZVA HERE.
Here is my project to share with you all today.

This layout is created using tons of new releases by ZVA Creative during this last Winter CHA. It is also a layout created using Swirlydoos April kit, "Hello Beautiful".

In the close-up above, I've painted an acrylic frame by Clear Scraps with Art Anthology's velvet and sorbet and later, used some new ZVA Creative's flourish crystals to decorate on its sides.

I've painted the flowers, the birds, wooden embellishment and butterflies using velvets and add a little sparkle to them with sorbets. In the middle of each flower, I've added a mini flower crystal by ZVA Creative.

To create the background, I've used some mascils by Clear Scraps and some colorations by Art Anthology. The twigs and title are stamps by Vilda Stamps.

ZVA Creative supplies used:

CRW-06CA-112 (Flourishes - Ice Blue crystal), CRS-06CA-119 (Flourish- Ice Blue crystal), CRW-06CA-153 (Mini Flowers - Ice Blue crystal)

If you would like to play along with our design team, just follow along the blog path. I am linking to one of the ZVA designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way!
The Blog Hop starts today, April 29th and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, April 30th.

***Prizes***

Hidden on FIVE of the designer's blogs is a Zva Creative prize package! Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over. All you need to do is leave a comment on this Blog Hop post... you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. However, the more times you comment along the blog hop path, the more chances you will have to win.

The 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, May 1st on ZVA Creative's Facebook Page. We will try our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to ZVA'a blog on Wednesday to see if you are the winner!

We also thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize! To increase your chances of winning:

* Comment to let us know that you posted on your Facebook page about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)

* Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)

* Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva creative products. If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can suggest other products that they don't carry.

*Hop over to Zva's facebook page and "like" our page or leave a comment there to tell us that you stopped by.

The Blog hop begins here at ZVA Creative's Facebook Page. Your next stop is Jennifer Synder. Enjoy!

Thank you for joining us!

P.S. Mark your calendar to join us again on May 27th  for our next ZVA blog hop!

Enjoy The Journey Mini Journal

Today I would like to share with you all a really tiny keychain journal which I've created using Clear Scraps mini acrylic tags. I've used some fabric tags to layer each tag and detail them with stamp images.

Here are some pages in this mini journal.

This is such a fun little journal to make and the rich colored fabric makes it looks expensive. Have a great weekend!

2 School

This is my first DT layout for Blue Fern Studios this month. It's a layout based on this month's sketch challenge at Blue Fern Studios.

I've used the "floral clock" chipboard piece on this layout. I've misted it with some black paint and detail it with liquid pearls.

I'll be sharing the rest of my Blue Fern Studios projects soon. Check back for it.

Adventure Memories

It's the beginning of another week! Today, I would like to share with you another oldie. This is an old layout created as a guest designer assignment for Colorful Creations. I've used tons of acrylic flowers by Clear Scraps on this layout.

Here are some close-ups on it.

To layer the acrylic flowers, I've used more flowers by Petaloo.

I used some stamps by Darkroom Door to create the title and the stamped textures on the flowers and the right of the layout.

Have a great scrappy week ahead!

Cherish Life

This is an old layout created using a Swirlydoos kit, "Nouveau". I just found out that I did not share this layout in detail here.

This is a layout created using an acrylic sheet by Clear Scraps as the base. The acrylic base create a floating effect for this layout.

Here are the details.

To create some interesting patterns on the acrylic base, I've used a stencil and some paints to create the stenciled designs on it.

This kit also comes with some gorgeous blooms by Petaloo.

Hope you all find this floating effect layout interesting!

Keep Calm and Carry On

This layout is a DT layout for 7 Dots Studio which features the Domestic Goddess collection. I really love the bright and warm color tones in this collection and the perfect vintage collage to go with it.

Here are some close-ups on it.

I've misted some Petaloo's CMC flowers with paints to get some coordinating flowers for this layout.

On this layout, I've played with some crafting wire.

Are you inspired by this layout? I hope so. Have a great weekend!

Altered Jewelry Box

This is an altered jewelry box that I've created using the sweet and beautiful "Isabella" line by Bo Bunny. I received this bare display box as a gift from a good friend of mine, Miyako from Osaka, Japan. When I first saw this box, immediately I wanted to create a jewelry box out of it for Chloe.

Here are some details on it.

I used tons of laces, flowers and pearls to decorate this box.

I've stamped on the glass cover using a clear stamp by Bo Bunny with Staz On.

Thank you so much Miyako for this beautiful box and the inspiration! I've enjoyed altering it very much!
