ZVA Creative April DT Blog Hop!

Hello friends! ZVA Creative and our talented Design Team welcome you to our April blog hop! We are very excited to have you join us today and hope you are inspired by all of the beautiful work that we are about to share!

The hop begins at ZVA Creative's blog! Be sure head on over to check it out! You will also find a complete list of all the participating blogs there (in case there is a glitch along the way).
As you know, ZVA offers many beautiful color groupings of pearls, flowers and crystals. If you like what you see along the hop, you can find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva HERE.

This month I'm sharing with you a Spring inspired layout using Marion Smith Designs papers and tons of gorgeous ZVA Creative's flourishes.

On this layout, I've used tons of Petaloo's beautiful flowers to create the Spring effect on it.

I've also used an acrylic frame by Clear Scraps to highlight the little bloom on the photograph.

ZVA Creative Supplies Used:
CRB-07CA-134 (Flourish - lavender/grape crystal), CRW-04CB-133 (Dots Crystal - lavender), CR-07CA-109 (Flourishes - lavender/grape crystal), BRBK-02CA-103 (Pearl brads)

If you would like to play along with our design team, just follow along the blog path. I am linking to one fo the ZVA designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way!

The Blog Hop starts today, April 28th and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, April 29th.

***Prizes***
Hidden on FIVE of the blogs along the way is a Zva Creative prize package! Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over. All you need to do is leave a comment on one post...you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. However, the more times you comment along the blog hop path, the more chances will you have to win.
The 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, April 30th on Zva Creative's Facebook Page and blog. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to Zva's page on Wednesday to see if you are the winner!

We also thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize! To increase your chances of winning:
* Comment to let us know that you posted on our Facebook page about our hop (link to any of the blog hop post)
* Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva Creative products. If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can suggest other products that they don't carry.
* Hope on over to Zva's Facebook page and "like" our page or leave a comment there to tell us that you stopped by if you already like us there!

The blog hop begins here at Zva Creative's blog. Your next stop is Camila's blog. Enjoy!

Thank you for joining us!
P.S. Mark your calendar to join us again on May 28th for next month's hop.

Cherish Altered Frame

This is my second project using Swirlydoos April kit. I've altered the wooden frame included in the kit.

I've added tons of Petaloo flowers on this frame.

To add more sparkles to it, I've used crystals and randomly add them to the frame.

Gentleness

As promised, today I will share in more detail on this layout which I've created using Swirlydoos April kit. On this layout, I've also used stamps by Vilda Stamps.

To create the title, I've used a wording mascil by Clear Scraps. I've also used an acrylic banner embellishment to create the banner under the photograph.

I've used tons of colorations by Art Anthology to create the misted background. The cut out leaves and flowers were colored using Kaiserfusion. Love these markers!

Family Misc Me (12x12)

Hi everyone! I can't wait to share with you all the outcome after playing with the new BoBunny Misc Me. I had so much fun playing with these new 12 x 12 Misc Me pockets. The new Primrose journal box set is so gorgeous and perfect for me to scrap some old family photographs.

Recently, I've been asked, how I'm able to work my style with these Misc Me pocket pages which are a little tight for tons of layering or dimensional embellishment. Here are some simple rules to follow.

First of all, you can always create or layer beyond the plastic surfaces. Secondly, you can even embellish beyond the pocket separators. Below are some example of how I've incorporated some different dimensional elements and textures onto the pocket pages.

So remember, there are no limits when it comes to creativity! You are always able to put your own twist on products to suit your style or preferences.

Caught On Film

This is a recent layout featuring BoBunny's Modern Miss collection. For the design of this layout, I've amplified the "look through the lens" by using mists and stitching.

Here are some details on it.

I've cut up the photograph to create the wood planks effect.

Have a wonderful weekend!
