For today's post, I would like to share with you all an acrylic card which I've created some time ago using Clear Scraps acrylic angel card.

I've decorated the card with some pattern papers and flowers. For the angel, I've used some lace to create the dress and some beads for detail. I've also added some acrylic stars on the card. To add more sparkle to it, I've used some stickles and rub-ons.

Below is a picture of how the card is, when open up.

I hope the sentiment on this card would help you all go through any difficult situations. Have a creative weekend and see you all again soon!

My View Altered Canvas

Hello friends! For today's post, I would like to share this altered canvas which I've created long time ago using tons of products of by Tim Holtz. I've used products by Tim Holtz idea-ology and Ranger Inks Besides that, I've also used an acrylic frame and some acrylic sheets by Clear Scraps.

Below are some details on this canvas.

In the below picture, I've painted some grunge board fern and flowers with crackle paints and detail it with distressed stickles and ink.

I've used an acrylic sheet to create this flower. I've cut out the flower and outlined it with permanent marker. To layer it, I've used a paper flower which I've masked another smaller flower in it. On the edges of the canvas, I've used some distress embossing powder to highlight it.

On the grunge board dragonfly below, I've added ink and magic mesh on it. Later, I've used some glossy accents to seal it and use some liquid pearls to detail it.

I really love the metal embellishment by Tim Holtz idea-ology series. I've used some some them on the flower below to create the grungy and steampunk effect. The outer layer of the flower is made of acrylic sheets which have been inked using alcohol ink.

To create some textures and details on the acrylic frame, I've embossed it and inked it with alcohol ink.

I've embossed the alphabet below with some embossing folder and later inked it with distress ink. To further enhance it and seal it, I've used some glossy accents.

Hope you all like today's canvas. Try some of the techniques which I've used on the altered canvas in your recent projects. Have fun and see you all again soon!

Summer Favorites Layout

Hello friends! I'm so sorry for missing a post last week. I've been super busy and there are just so much to do till I've forgotten to schedule a post here. Between things around the house and having two kids who are about to take exams, I'm trying my best to juggle each day.

Anyway, for today's post, I would like to share with you all a Summer themed layout with tons of warm colors. I've used pattern papers by Graphic 45 and flowers by Petaloo to create this layout.

Below are some closer look on this layout.

To make the layout colorful and warm, I've added different colors of paper flowers around the layout. These flowers and lace gives the layout so much dimension and textures.

To tone down the colors a bit and blend with the beach theme of the layout, I've brushed on the flowers with some white paint.

I also use some bottle caps to create some interesting circle design on the background of this layout.

Hope to see you all again soon!

Hello friends! For today's project, I would like to share an altered wood frame which I've altered. This is will be used as a home decor. I've used Clear Scraps "Our Story" wood frame to create this project.

Below are some details on it.

I've used dimensional paste with Clear Scraps butterfly mascil to create some fine details on this frame.

I've painted the frame with white acrylic paint. Besides that, I've also used a chipboard flourish by Clear Scraps to decor the rectangular frame above. To add color to it, I've used some distress paint and the same butterfly mascil earlier.

There is also a heart shape frame on this wood frame. I've also painted it white and later decorate it with some stickers and flowers.

I've used some sentiments to decorate the three frames on this decor. You can also used photographs instead on these frames. This will further personalize it to suit your home.

The Faithfulness Layout

Hi everyone! It has been a while since I've shared a layout on Hiro. Therefore, for today's post, I've decided to share a layout on him here. Hiro is already 8 years old now. Still active and cheeky.... LOL!

This is a published layout some time ago. I've used tons of products by BoBunny to create this layout. I've also used a huge acrylic snowflake piece by Clear Scraps to layer behind the photograph.

Below are some details on this layout.

To make the acrylic snowflake more visible, I've painted the edges with some white gesso and add some glitters on it.

I've used a words stencil by Clear Scraps to create the title of this layout. To create more depth to the layout, I've also used some snowflake stencil to create the design on the background of this layout. Besides that, I used some snowflake stamps to add more intricate details to it.

I've used various die cuts, chipboard pieces, jewels, lace and flower to create the cluster on the right of the layout.

Hope you all like this layout and find some inspiration from it. See you all again soon!

Sunshine Layout

Happy Friday everyone! For today's project, I would like to share a layout which I've created using tons of Petaloo and Clear Scraps products. This layout is created based on the photograph featured on it. It is a photograph of my kids and nieces playing on the beach.

I tried to create a different summer themed layout without using the normal warm sunshine colors. Instead, I've tried to portray the colors of ocean and beach on it but using teal and beige.

I used tons of seashells and pearls to further enhance the beach or ocean look.

Beside pearls, I've also used micro beads to create the sandy look on this layout. Using heavy white gesso to create bubbles will add more textures to this layout. I also use a circle mascil and sunshine expression from Clear Scraps on this layout. I painted the expression white.

This is a very fun and heavy textured based layout to create. Hope you all could find some inspirations here and start playing. Have a great weekend and see you all again soon!

Altered Circle Shaker

Hi friends! I can't believe that it's already time for me to post another project to share with you all. Time really flies! Today, I would like to share a fun project that you can create to decor your home with.

Do you know that Clear Scraps carries tons of bare shakers that you can alter and personalize to your taste. For today's project, I've chose to use their circle shaker.

I've first painted the edges of the shaker with some black acrylic paint. to add more colors to it, I've used some pattern papers to decorate the inside of the circle and cut out some flower images to decorate it.

I've used a chipboard expression by Clear Scraps and painted it black. To add some sparkle to it, I've used some distress stickles and some gold foil transfers.

I've added some crackle accents on top of the cut out flowers and some stickles for more textures.

Hope you all like today's project. See you all again soon!

Pink Birthday Cards

Morning everyone! It's another great Friday morning here and for today's post, I would like to share with you all some simple birthday cards which I've created using some pattern papers by BoBunny.

These cards are really fast and easy to create. The tedious part would be to fussy cut some cherry blossoms out of the pattern paper to decorate them.
To add some dimensional details to it, I've used some dimensional pearlescent by BoBunny and some jewels.

I use some gold foil transfers to create the word "Happy Birthday" on one of the cards.

I hope you all find today's project simple enough and try creating some. Have a great weekend ahead and see you all again soon!

Home Blessed Word Frame Decor

Good morning! Today's project is a little different. It is a home decor created using Clear Scraps "Home" word frame. I love how you could personalize these word frame to suit your home.

Below are some details on how I've altered it.

I've first used some pattern papers to cover the background of this frame. Then, I've used some permanent markers to highlight the edges of the alphabets and shapes. To add some textures to it, I've used Clear Scraps flourish mascil and some white gesso to add some flourishes details on it. For more fine details, I've used some dimensional red gel pen to add dots to it.

For the word "blessed", I used Clear Scraps "blessed" chipboard word title and painted it with some white acrylic paint.

I hope to add more colors to this layout, therefore, I've used some gorgeous blooms by Petaloo to decorate this word frame. Together with the lace and twine, this creates a softer look to this frame.

This is such a fun and challenging project for me to create. Hope you all find it interesting and try creating one too! See you all again next week!
