Spring Layout

Hello friends! It's time for me to share another project with you all. For today's post, I would like to share an acrylic layout featuring the theme of Spring. I've used an acrylic XL piece by Clear Scraps as the base for this layout and some pattern papers by Graphic 45.

To create more textures, I've used some white thick gesso and a stencil by Clear Scraps to create the hexagons background. I've also used some laser cut chipboard pieces to decorate this layout. For the edges of the layout, I used a permanent marker to create a faux stitching design.

By using an acrylic base, I'm able to play with different mixed media techniques while creating this layout. Hope you all like it and see you all again soon!

The Smell Of Spring Layout

Hi my friends! It has been a very long time since I last posted anything on this blog. As most of you would have guessed it, life has been very challenging to most of us in the last one and a half years. We need time to adjust and be comfortable with our new norm. I wasn't in the mood to do anything creative at that moment.

I was reminded by a dear crafty friend of mine to start blogging and creating again. It takes me a good week to think it over and feel like blogging again. And now here I am, writing this post to share with you all. I'm sure some of you must be wondering how is Hiro. He is doing great and slowly growing older. He is 12 years old already! Wow! I just can't imagine how fast time flies. He is still as cheeky and playful. LOL!

Anyway, here is a layout of him to share with you all today. Below are some details on this layout.

I've done loads of stamping, stenciling, masking and inking on this layout.

Hope you all find this layout inspiring and start creating again. I've used tons of products from Clear Scraps, Petaloo and Ranger inks to create this layout. Thanks for dropping by and see you all in my next post.

Life Is Good Layout

Hello friends! For today's post, I would like to share a layout created using 7 Dots Studio's pattern papers. To create the design, I've used Clear Scraps acrylic frame layout too. I've painted part of the swirls on this acrylic frame layout using acrylic paint to make it visible. For the acrylic squares on this frame, I've used pattern papers to decorate it.

The chipboard above is painted using distress paints and later, add some stickles on top of it.

For some soft elements, I've used some flowers to decorate this layout.

Hope you all like today's layout and see you all again soon! Stay safe!

Gorgeous Layout

Hi friends! I'm so sorry for not posting here for awhile. Our lives are so chaotic due to the recent pandemic all over the world. We need to change the way we do things and these changes need time to get used to. Sigh...

But now, things are moving smoothly and I managed to get some "me" time so that I could do some blogging. Today, I'm here to share a layout which I've created a while ago. I've used some products by BoBunny and Petaloo to create this layout.

Below are some close-up pictures on this layout.

I've painted some chipboard flourishes and the word "gorgeous" with textured paints. There is a hint of sparkle in this paint.

These beautiful flowers are from Petaloo.

Hope you all like this layout and thank you for dropping by! See you all again soon!
