Sleepy Head Layout

Hi friends! Are you all up for a layout inspiration this week? For today's layout, I've used some products by 7 Dots Studio and Clear Scraps. This is a light mixed media layout. Below are ore details on this layout.

To add tons of different elements and textures, I've used some chipboard, lace and acrylic on this layout. To add some designs to the background, I used some mascils by Clear Scraps and some inks. I used some texture paste to add more rough texture to the chipboard flourishes and detail them with some pearls.

I use the same technique on the acrylic frame and decorate it with some jewels and pearls.

The flowers used on this layout is by Petaloo and to blend the color of the lace with the layout, I've added some white gesso and misted some paint onto it.

Thank you so much for dropping by and see you all again soon!

My Story Planner Album

Hello my dear friends! It has been a while since my last album project. For today's post, I would like to share this acrylic album with you all. I've used Clear Scraps "build it your way" series of album to create this album.  Besides that, I've also used a chipboard "My Story" expression from Clear Scraps on the cover of this album too.

Below are some pictures on the inside pages of this album.

I've used chipboard pages for each page and in between them, I've used some acrylic tab divider pages.

To decorate each acrylic divider page, I've used some masks/stencils by Clear Scraps with acrylic paint. To detail it, I've used jewels and some cut outs from pattern papers.

I've covered each chipboard pages with pattern papers by MSD.

To add more journaling pages to this album, you can actually insert them easily to this album since it is a ring album. Love this feature. You can also add small mementos items such as tickets and tabs to it by adding a pocket page to it.

Hope you all like this project and see you all again soon!

Acrylic Cupcake Serviette Holder

Happy Friday everyone! Today, I would like to share with you a very simple but fun project which you can create for your parties or events. These acrylic serviette holders are very easy to make.

Here's how you could make one for yourself too. Just cut out a small strip of acrylic and bend it into a "U" shape.

For my serviette holder, I've added two pieces of acrylic cupcake on each end of the acrylic strip. I've decorated two pieces of acrylic cupcake by Clear Scraps using pattern papers and jewels. For some icing, I've used some dimensional pearls.

You can use any kind of acrylic or chipboard pieces to decorate each end of the trip to suit your event. For example, you can use some bats, black cats or spiders for this coming Halloween events or you can use some Christmas stockings, elves or presents for the coming Christmas parties.

Hope you all like this simple idea and try it. See you all again soon!
