Hiro's New Friend

This week, we've captured some pictures of Hiro and his new buddy, Dino. Dino is also a Siberian Husky and is a new dog at my mom's.
Even though both Hiro and Dino are huskies but they look so differently. Perhaps their ancestors are from different tribes. He loves to play with Dino and when both dogs play, we have to make sure they are not around any fragile surroundings..lol!

Next week, we'll be taking him with us to my parents in law to celebrate the Chinese New Year. It will be fun for him as he loves road trips.

Recently, I've been planning and designing for some future workshops. I would love to get some opinions from you all. What kind of workshop would you all prefer? Altered projects? Mini Albums? Layouts? ATCs? others? I've set up a poll on the right of my blog. Please head over to vote for your choice and help me to plan for my future workshops. Thanks in advance!

Little Artist

This is a DT layout for Stamp Enjoy. The main technique used on this layout is "Random Stamping to Frame". I've used tons of gorgeous stamps from Stamp Enjoy all over this layout.

Here are some details on it.

I've used a mixture of various distress ink on the stamps to stamp on the layout.

I've coloured this stamped image using Copic markers.

These flowers are sponsored by Kay's Kreative Korner.

Hope you all find this layout fun and inspiring! Have a creative weekend!

Random Stamping to Frame

This is a very easy and simple technique. I've actually prepared this simple tutorial for Stamp Enjoy in December.

Here are the steps.

1) Place your photograph onto the background paper and use a pencil to lightly trace it's edges on it. Remove the photograph.

2) Randomly, use various different stamps and colours of inks to stamp all around the traced edges. You could also lightly ink it to further enhanced the edges.

3) When you're satisfied with your stamping and inking, just attached the photograph on it.

I'll be sharing my complete layout using this technique tomorrow. Check back for it!

Bo Bunny's Blog Hop ( I Love You Mini Album)

Welcome to Bo Bunny's Blog Hop Day! I'm so excited that you all joined us for this blog hop! If you haven't started at the beginning, you may want to go back to Bo Bunny's blog and start there.

For today's blog hop, I would like to share this mini album that I've created using Bo Bunny chipboard album and the beautiful Crazy Love line.

Below are the pages in this album.

On this page, I've highlight the edges of the "heart" with a string of pearls.

I've added a piece of Crazy Love Note Worthy on this page as a journaling space.
To add some different textures and element on this page, I've tied two ribbons on the "O".

To improve the flow of this page, I've added a strip of double dot cardstock through the entire page. The flowers are cut out from the pattern papers. I've used some foam adhesives to create dimension on this page.

Towards the end of this page, I've added a strip of wrap to create a more feminine look to this mini album.

Hope you all like this mini album and felt inspired! As for the blog hop, remember to leave a comment on each DT's blog. There will be a cool Bo Bunny prize package for one lucky hopper.

Also, have you heard that Bo Bunny is trying to reach 10,000 likes on their facebook page? When you're done hopping, head on over to Bo Bunny's facebook page and like their page. Just leave a comment that you like them and they will pick a lucky winner to win a Bo Bunny prize pack.

Now, hop on over to Debbie's blog! I bet she has some amazing projects to share with you all. Thanks for dropping by my blog and hope to see you all here in future!

Family Together Sign

I know some of you have been waiting for me to share some of my new Clear Scraps projects in detail here. Today, I'll share with you all this sign which I've created using Clear Scraps new "Acrylic Expressions". I've also used an acrylic book stand by Clear Scraps as the base for this sign.

I will explain more with the close-ups below.
I've used a Layers Of Color stencil to create the flourish background.

All the flowers and pearl centers are by Accent Creative Designs.

I've used some gorgeous papers by Pink Paislee on the acrylic expressions and a Hambly overlay on the background.
I've detailed the alphas with brads, string of pearls, ribbons and even crystal dragonfly.
I've actually masked some flowers on some of the pattern papers before attaching them to the acrylic expressions.

These acrylic expressions are such fun and amazing new design to play with! Remember to check out this project at Clear Scraps booth #1478 during this Winter CHA! You could also see some of my other projects there!

Check back tomorrow for a cool Bo Bunny blog hop!

Caught In Action!

This week, we've captured a picture of Hiro being caught in action! Remember that, I've once told you all that he is a plant destroyer? Here's the proof! We've had quite a number of different dogs in the past but Hiro is the first one that is super curious about plants and would not let go the chance to destroy it whenever he can. The best part about this picture is that it looks as if he is winking! Isn't that too cute?

2011 Resolutions

Hope you all like it and feel inspire to scrap on your resolutions too! Bo Bunny is still featuring their new Winter CHA releases at their blog.
