Need Some Info

Hi everyone! Today's post is a little special. I need to find out some information from you all to do further planning.
Recently, I've been emailed by some scrappers locally and requested that I organize a workshop in Penang for them. I know it's kind of sad when I do teach a lot overseas and seldom locally. Therefore, I hope to make it up to you all by organizing this workshop.

What I think is that, if I want to do it. I might as well make it available for everyone. I need an estimation on how many people will attend and how many kits I need to order.

This workshop will be an acrylic layout workshop with tons of techniques. The date for this workshop has not been fixed yet. It will be sometime in July 2012.

Here's a picture of the workshop.

If you have not tried working with acrylic before and would like to learn how to use it and the related techniques, this is definitely a workshop for you. At this moment, I'm just trying to estimate the number. Therefore, if you're interested and think that you would like to attend this workshop, do email me at scrapperlicious@gmail.com or if you would like to call me, it's +0124438698. Do share this news with your scrapping friends and hopefully it will be a fun workshop for all.

Spring Altered Canvas * Video Tutorial

Are you all ready for another video tutorial from me? This month, I've created a Spring themed canvas which I've personalized a little by adding pictures of my kids. I've used the limited edition "Spring Collection" by Shimmerz Paints in this tutorial. To create this canvas, I've also used papers by Bo Bunny, stamps by Vilda Stamps, chippies and flowers by Dusty Attic, acrylic title by Clear Scraps and lace by The Piece by Piece.

Here's a close-up on it.

Check out how I've created the whole background on this canvas and how I've dressed up the acrylic title and chippie in the video. Enjoy!

Peace

This is the second layout which I've created using Swirlydoos' kit this month, "Whisper of Spring". I've used an XL acrylic shape by Clear Scraps as the base for this layout and chippies from Dusty Attic. Besides that, I've also used Petaloo gorgeous flowers and stamps by Darkroom Door.

Here are some close-ups on them.

Take a look at this gorgeous Petaloo CMC flowers. I've slightly inked them to coordinate with the layout.

These small leaves are stamped using Darkroom Door's leaves stamp set.

In the picture above, I've stamped on the acrylic base with Darkroom Door's buttons background stamp and color them with Copic markers.

The leaves cluster is created using the same leaves stamp set and I've misted a flourish chippie by Dusty Attic to add it there.

This "peace" chippie is also by Dusty Attic which I've painted with acrylic paint.

I will be sharing more projects using this kit soon. Keep an eye for them.
