Trying Another Shot on Hiro

This week, we managed to get some shots while Hiro is playing in the fountain at our community garden. Look at the picture above. He really loves to play with water. Even when he is taking a drink from the fountain, he would put one of his feet in it and start to stir the water. I really love this shot and would definitely try to take more shots of him playing with water. If you have any interesting ideas in capturing shots of your furkids, do share it with me. Would love to know more ways that I could capture interesting shots of Hiro.

For those of you who had submitted your layouts for the Swirly Challenge sponsored by Swirlydoos, the winner has been announced on Swirlydoos Blog. Check it out and good luck!

Moments Altered Tag

This is another DT project for Tim Holtz. I've altered an old tag that I've been saving. This is a very fun and easy tag.

I'll explain more in the close-ups below.
I've first embossed the tag using the texture fades embossing folder and then I've painted the embossed images using white gesso. Later, ink it with various tones of distress inks and stamped on it.

Use a grungeboard wing, a muse token and a grungeboard crown to embellish it. Cover the crown with Distress Stickles. I've also embossed the wings with texture fades embossing folder and ink it with distress ink. Add some Glossy Accents on the embossed images.

I've actually created this tag to go with another altered box. I'll share the altered box in another post soon.

Thank you so much to those of you who had submitted your layouts for the Swirly Challenge sponsored by Swirlydoos. The winner will be announced soon. Keep an eye for it at Swirlydoos blog! Good luck!

This week, I've been featured as the designer in a competition by a store in New Zealand! The competition is called "Stars In Their Eyes Competition". It's organized by Scrappin' Patch in New Zealand. You could check out their forum here and their blog here. The participants are asked to lift the style of the star designer for the week.
Thank you Scrappin' Patch for this wonderful opportunity! Cheers to NZ!
