Hmmmm.....

This week, I would like to share this picture of Hiro when he is acknowledging on something ....LOL! Isn't this too cute?

I won't be able to share any pictures of Hiro for the next two weeks as I'll be away and will not be able to capture any pictures of him. Hiro will be spending time at his usual dog hotel.

Multi Layer Chipboard Snowflake

In this little tip post, I'm going to explain how I create the multi layer chipboard snowflakes. If you look at the pictures above, you could see the smaller snowflakes are layered and has more dimension. For this little tip, I've used the Dusty Attic snowflake chippies.

Here are the steps:

1) Mist the snowflake chippies with tons of water to make sure it's really wet.

2) Then, use a tweezers to split it into 3 pieces each and let it dry. Now, with 3 medium snowflake chippies, you will get 9 pieces of snowflake to play with. And this step also break down the original hardness in the chipboard pieces which enable you to bend it later on.

3) Later, I've painted the snowflakes and layer the different sizes together. I've lightly bend on the edges of the snowflake before layering them.

Extra tip: If you do not like the layering of different sizes of snowflake but would still love to create some dimension; here's what you can do. Lightly wet the edges of the snowflake chippies and use a tweezers to only split and bend upwards the edges of the snowflake.

Note: I've used Dusty Attic chipboard pieces to work on this tip. I'm not sure if any other chipboard pieces will work. You have to try it for yourself.
