Thunder Scare

It's another week of rain, rain and rain! It seems that Hiro loves the rain! He is so excited to see rain and loves it when the rain comes with strong wind. I guess he really likes the coldness. But during one stormy afternoon, a very loud thunder strikes and he is a little scared and would immediately wants to be around us. Does your dog afraid of thunder?

The places are filling up for my workshops in Hong Kong. If you want to attend the workshops, do not hesitate and grab your seat now before it's full. Celebrity

This is a layout that I've created using Swirlydoos kit and tons of stamps by Vilda Stamps. I've also used a large acrylic star by Clear Scraps.

Below are some details of this layout.
I've applied some alcohol ink on the acrylic star and the artisan element.

I've soften the look of the paper with distress ink and tons of stamping. It creates the fabric look.

This is a layout where I've tried to showcase Hiro as a celebrity in the news or magazine. Hope you all like this layout.

A Nice Contrast

This week, we've managed to capture some outdoor pictures of Hiro. Above is a picture which I think has a good contrast element and makes the picture more interesting. Did you see some of the torn edges on the big leaf? Yes, that's Hiro's work of art!LOL! He is such a greenery artist (destroyer). He just can't stand seeing it move with the wind.

Check back tomorrow for another project of mine at the Crop Spot!

XO

This is a DT layout for Bo Bunny. I've used one of their latest line of pattern papers, Crush. Aren't the colours gorgeous? This layout also features the awesome clear stamps from Crush and Midnight Frost.

Here are some details on it.

I've covered the chipboard alphas using some glossy accents.

Have you all tried stamping on your layouts? If not, you should. It's really fun and adds that little special touch to your layouts. Try it!

UR A Star

This is another DT project for Tim Holtz. I've also used tons of Clear Scraps products on this layout. This layout had been featured at Sketchabilities before.

Here are the details.

I've used some simple techniques to differentiate each pieces of acrylic star. I've used some texture fades embossing folder to emboss them and later ink or glitter them.

I've used the "punching to distress" technique on the acrylic and inked it with alcohol ink.

I've used the Tim Holtz idea-ology flourish mask and distress ink to mask the flourish on the top left of the layout. I've also sprinkled some water on it to further distress it.

I've actually flip an acrylic triangle banner piece to create the tree look and ink it with alcohol ink.

On the top right corner, I've torn the corner off and added another pattern paper under it. I've also stamped on it.

Hope the techniques used on this layout inspire you all. Try them and apply them to your creations! Have fun!

Sad Face

This is a layout that I've created using Swirlydoos "Irresistible" kit. I've also used a large acrylic bracket from Clear Scraps, a brick wall stamp and a bird stamp by Layers Of Color.

Here are some close-ups on it.
I've used the brick wall stamp to stamp onto the acrylic bracket using solvent ink. As for the bird, I've stamped it onto a white cardstock and cut it out.

I've inked the Pink Paislee Artisan Elements with some silver alcohol ink and decorate it with liquid pearls and stickles.

This is such a fun layout to create. Hope you all are inspired! I'll be sharing another project using Tim Holtz products soon. Check back for it!
