I've actually shared this technique before here. I just thought, since I've taken some steps pictures for Bo Bunny's blog post, I will also share it here again for those of you who had missed it.
It is a very simple technique where you can transfer your image to any surface via the use of packing tape.
Here are the steps.
2) Cut out the image and soak it in a bowl of water for about 3 minutes. Try separating the strips after that.
3) Then, pick a strip up and turn to it's back. Use your finger and rub off the paper from the packing tape. (Tip: Start by picking the very first strip on the image and work on the rest accordingly. It would be great to have a towel nearby.)
4) After rubbing off the paper on the first strip of packing tape, immediately attach it onto the surface you want. The tape will still have some stickiness to it and will stick onto the surface easily. If not, try using adhesives. (Tip: Attach each strip immediately after you finished rubbing off the paper from it's back. Do not wait till you finished rubbing all the strips.)
Try this technique on your next project. I''ll share the complete project tomorrow. Check back for it!

Awesome, thanks for sharing this technique.I wont so much to try it :)
sweet, Irene! So this doesn't work with an inkjet printer?
Hi Bonnie,
I've tried this technique with my inkjet print and it doesn't work. I would suggest that if you don;t have a laserjet printer, try taking it to a photocopier machine which are toner base.
Thanks for sharing! I have wanted to try this technique for such a long time, and now I have detailed instructions :)

You always blow my mind with your new ideas. I would have never thought to place the photo transfer over patterned paper. The effect is outstanding. I cannot wait to try it with my Samoyed doggie picture. Thank you for being so incredible.
Hi Irene,
If I get the picture developed as usual will it work?
Thank you!
Elaine
Hi Elaine,
Nope. You just need to print it out using a toner base or laserjet printer on a normal paper, not photo paper. Or you could take your photo to a photocopier and get it photocpied on a regular paper. Ink jet won't work. You need a "toner based" print.
Thank you so much for the inspiration Irene! I made a card using this technique after seeing your post :))
Just want to share it with you
