Square Flower

Today I'm going to share the tutorial on how to create this square flower. I've used it on one of my previous layout and some of you had requested a tutorial on it. So here you go. It's really very simple.

Here are the steps.
1) Use some mosaic stamps or square stamps with some inks (it can be any kind of ink suitable for stamping) on pattern papers or cardstock. Then cut it out.

2) Cut four slits around the flower to create petals. Do not cut it all the way. Just about 2/3 towards the middle of the stamped square.

3) Fold the left and right tips of each petal down and later fold each petal up towards the middle. This will create some dimension. Dress it up with rhinestones and Stickles.

Isn't this easy? You could use several different sizes of square stamps and create different sizes of square flowers. You could also layer different sizes of square flowers for a more detail flower look. Try it!
