"LOVE"

This is just another fun little altering project that I've created for a magazine publication recently. The "LOVE" is actually a chipboard piece from Making Memories. When I first saw this chipboard, I've already had this idea in me. It really makes me think of how much I love my family. Therefore, I've decided to use pictures of my family on it.
Here are the steps to it.
1) First, I’ve masked some paper doileys design onto the "L" and "E" using some distress inks. (pine needles, faded jeans, black soot, frayed burlap) and covered the "O" and "V" with pattern paper.
2) I’ve stamped and doodled on it too.
3) All the flourishes are stamped and heat embossed using silver embossing powder on black card stock. Then, I've cut it out and attached it to the “LOVE”.
4) I’ve added some sequins and a glittered butterfly for some bling effect and some ribbons and flowers for a little softness to it.
This is a very fast and fun project for me. Hope you feel the "LOVE" too!
