Sugar & Spice Mini Album (Front Cover)

This is the front cover of my Sugar & Spice mini album. I've used Clear Scraps acrylic flower album to create this album.

Here are the steps for the front cover.

1) The first piece of the acrylic flower album is a circle acrylic piece. I've used the "Masking using Acrylic Paints on Acrylic" technique to create the white scallop edges on it. Before removing the masking template, I've used a quote stamp and green solvent ink to stamp all over it.

2) Cut the photograph in an oval shape and paste it to the cover from behind. This means the acrylic piece is on top of the photograph.

3) Add a felt frame to frame the photograph from the front of the cover. Dress it up with liquid pearls.

4) Cut out some flowers from pattern papers and ink it's edges with distress ink. Paste it randomly around the frame. Add some pieces of mesh under it to add more textures to it. I've used some glossy accent to create a wet and fresh look around the flowers.

5) Punch two holes on the lower left of the frame and tie a paper ribbon on it. Add a small wooden clothes pin on it to hold a word sticker which I've matted it with a card stock.

6) Print the word "sugar" from the computer and cut it out. Ink it's edges with distress ink and attach it to the cover using foam adhesives. The "&" is a chipboard piece and the word "spice" are done using some rub-ons.

Isn't this simple? It might look complicated but it's actually very easy to do. Hope you all like this first tutorial on that mini album.
