Here's how I've played with UTEE in my recent project without using melting pot.
1) Use a piece of chipboard or cardboard and cover it with some clear embossing ink. Just rub the pad against the surface of the card board.
2) Pour some clear UTEE on top of it and heat emboss it using a heating tool. (Beware: it can be messy). While it's still hot, pour another layer of UTEE on top of it and heat emboss it again. Do this for several times until you get the thickness you want. You can add some perfect pearls in between your layers to get a cool colour shimmer look to your embossing.
3) When you come to your last layer of embossing, while it's still hot, press your stamp onto it and leave it there till it's cool. Then, remove your stamp. You will get a press in image which is so cool.
4) To add some colours, simply use some alcohol ink with a brush to paint on it. Choose the colours to get the effect you want. In my example above, I tried to create a melted red candle wax look. Play around with the colours to get more cool effects. I've also added some perfect pearls by simply brushing some onto it while it's still a little damp or rub some perfect medium on it before applying the perfect pearls.
I have more ideas on using UTEE and will definitely try it out in some of my future projects. Have fun playing!
