The PACS 2008 mini album

This mini album is created using Clear Scraps Round Tag Album. It's such an easy shape to work with. The clear element actually add some elegance to this project. This album is about my teaching trip for The Paper & Co Show 2008 at Versailles, France. I'll explain the details of each page as I move along in this post.
Cover Page:

This is the cover of the album and here are the steps to it.
1) Stamp some flourishes on it using some white acrylic paint.
2) Add a strip of Magic Mesh on the bottom of the page and add a strip of black card stock (with a scallop edge) in the middle of it.
3) Add a 2/3 strip of pattern paper on the back card stock and a metal sticker on the left of it.
4) Punch some holes between the metal sticker and the pattern paper and add eyelets to it. Create some lacing using a ribbon. Add a strip of lace flowers on the bottom of the black card stock.
5) Add some liquid pearls to the stamped flourishes.
6) To create the huge flower, I've used a Clear Scraps Scallop Circle Frame and stamped it using some alcohol ink (Wild Plum, Cranberry, Espresso and Silver Mixatives). Add some liquid pearls to embellish it further. This is the base for the flower.
7) For the flower on top of it, Use a Prima big white daisy as the first layer and then create the next two layers using the "Creating your own Cabbage Flower" technique. Then, I've cut out a flower from a Hambly Screen Prints for the next layer and lastly, add another two layers of Prima paper flowers on top of it. Add a Prima Say It in Crystals flower center to embellish it.
8) The title are actually American Crafts Thickers Alphas which I've inked the edges with distress ink and covered it with glossy accents.
1st Page:
This page is very simple. I've just added a little journaling about my teaching experience at The PACS and add a little metal sticker on the upper left corner of it. I want to avoid over crowding the clear elements on the cover of this album.
2nd Page:

This page is about the venue of the convention. It's at the Palais Des Congres.
The steps:
1) Add a small piece of purple card stock on the left of the page and a piece of black card stock on the right of the page slightly overlapping the right edge of the purple card stock.
2) Distress the edges of the photograph using the scissors distressing technique and paste it onto the black card stock. Add a metal sticker to the upper right of it.
3) Stamp some flourishes using white acrylic paint and add some liquid pearls to embellish it.
4) The journaling box is created using American Crafts Thickers Accents (add some Stickles to it) and stick it onto a pattern paper. Cut it out and stamp some images on it. Add your journaling and paste it onto the page.
5) Lastly, add a flower to the page.
3rd Page:
This page is about the projects that I've taught during the convention.
The steps:
1) Add a small piece of purple card stock on the right of the page.
2) Paste both photographs on the page and outlined the edges of the photographs using a white and black pen.
3) I've printed the journaling onto vellum and attach it to the page.
4) The flowers are cut-outs from a pattern paper and paste to the page using some foam adhesives for dimensions. I've also added some Stickles and crystals to it.

4th Page:

This page is about some photographs taken during one of my classes. Thanks Lorena for the photographs.
The steps:
1) Use the "Masking using Masquepen" technique to create the background for this page. Add some liquid pearls on the masked swirls.
2) Add a piece of black card stock in the middle of the page.
3) Distress the edges of both photographs using the scissors distressing technique and outline one of them using a white pen. Paste it onto the page.
4) Stamp some flourishes using white acrylic paint in the middle of the page.
5) I've printed my journaling on a vellum and paste it onto the page.
6) Cut out some flowers from a pattern paper and paste it onto the page using foam adhesives for dimensions. Add glitters using Stickles all over the flowers and flourishes.
5th Page:

This page is about my meet up with some of my new friends and readers at the PACS. Thanks Blue for the photographs.
The steps:
1) Add a strip of white card stock which I've cut one of it's edges using a decorative scissors and ink it with black soot distress ink.
2) Distress both photographs using the scissors distressing technique and outline the one of the left using a white pen.
3) Add a strip of Magic Mesh on the bottom of the page.
4) Cut out a Hambly Screen Prints Frame and paste it on top of the photograph on the right.
5) Add some rub-ons to the left of the page and cut out a circle piece from a pattern paper for journaling. Add some liquid pearls to it.
6) Add a swirl in the middle of the page and some flowers to finish it off.
6th Page:

This is a page on some of the attendees of my classes. They're such an awesome bunch.
The steps:
1) Add a strip of black card stock (cut one of it's edges using a decorative scissors) in the middle of the page.
2) Add another rectangular piece of pattern paper to it.
3) Distress both photographs using the scissors distressing technique and outline the one on the left using a black pen. Paste them onto the page.
4) Add a strip of Magic Mesh on the bottom of the page and some rub-ons on both end of the page.
5) Use some cut-out swirls to cress up the bottom of the page and add a Hambly Screen Prints journaling box in the middle. Add some liquid pearls and Stickles to it.
6) Lastly add the flower to the page.
7th Page:

This is a page about all the instructors on The PACS 2008. I've so honored to be teaching with so many other talented ladies on the show.
The steps:
1) Add a piece of rectangular pattern paper on the right of the page.
2) Distress both photographs and paste it onto the page. Add some rub-ons to the photograph on the right of the page.
3) Add a Hambly Screen Prints Frame to the photograph on the left and embellish it with some Stickles and liquid pearls.
4) I've used an American Crafts Thickers Accents and stick it onto a pattern paper. Cut it out and write my sub-title in it. Add some Stickles to it.

8th Page:

This is the last page which consists of the group photograph.
The steps:
1) Add a small piece of pattern paper on left of the page.
2) Distress the photograph and paste it onto the right of the page.
3) Add some metal stickers on all four corners of the photograph and a rub-on on the left of the page.
Back Cover:

For the back cover, I've first stamped some flourishes using some white acrylic paint on it and add a strip of Magic Mesh on the bottom of the page. Then, I've layered a strip of black card stock and pattern paper in the middle of it. I've also add a strip of lace flower to it. The circle piece is actually a metal sticker. Lastly decorate teh stamped flourishes with some liquid pearls.
Whew! i've spent about an hour typing all these steps and details out. Hope you all benefit from what I've shared here. Thanks to those of you who had emailed me photographs from the show and for those of you who sees yourselves in this album, hope you all like it.
