The Key 2 The Next Chapter

This is my third project for Prima as their GDT. This layout is on one of my wedding photograph. Since it's a wedding page, I would like to create a romantic look for it using lots of Prima's crystals and flourishes.
Here are the steps.
1) Use a Prima Angelique pattern paper as the base of the page. Ink the edges with black soot distress ink.
2) Cut a rectangular piece from another Prima Angelique pattern paper and distress the edges using the scissors distressing technique. Ink it using vintage photo distress ink. Paste it in the middle of the page.
3) Add a piece of Prima Felt Matties on it and embellish it with Stickles.
4) Distress the photograph using scissors distressing technique and ink it with frayed burlap distress ink.
5) Tear out a strip from the Prima Angelique pattern paper and create some ruffles below the photograph.
6) Add some Prima Angelique Rub-Ons on the lower right and left of the page.
7) Add a strip of Prima lace over the pattern paper ruffles and hand stitch on it.
8) I've added some Prima Say It in Crystals Swirls all over the left of the page.
9) To create the huge flower, simply use a Prima Belle Fleur flower and add the "Splattered Paint on Flowers" technique to it. Attach it together with a Prima Angelique brad. I've also added a few Prima flowers all around the swirl and add some Prima Say It in Crystal flower centers to them.
10) Add a Prima Angelique chipboard heart on the lower left of the page and embellish it with some flowers, pattern paper cut-outs and crystals.
11) The hinges, key and the key hole had been created using the "Creating your Faux Metal Pieces" technique.
12) I've also added a Prima Angelique chipboard "2" as part of the title.
I just love creating this layout as it really brings me back in time. If you read the layout carefully, you'll find out how the title are made up! Hope you like it!
