Sugar & Spice Mini Album (Page 5 and 6)

Here's page 5 and 6 of the Sugar & Spice mini album. I hope you all find the tutorials easy to follow so far.

Steps to create page 5.

1) Cover the tabs or scallops with pattern paper and ink it's edges with distress ink.

2) Distress the photograph using the scissors distressing technique and hand stitch it to a strip of olive card stock. Add both pieces to the page.

3) Cut out some flowers from the pattern paper and ink the edges with distress ink. Paste it on the lower right of the page and use some glossy accents to create a wet look to it.

4) Cut out a small rectangular piece from a white card stock and ink it's edges with distress ink. Paste it on the bottom of the photograph.

5) Add the quote after inking it's edges with distress ink onto the page.

6) Stamp the flowers with stems onto a white card stock using solvent ink and colour it with some markers. Cut it out and ink it's edges with distress ink. Paste it to the page.

7) Add some strips of rick racks on the bottom of the page.

8) Cover a chipboard photo holder with pattern paper and ink it with distress ink. Add a brad to it and attach it to the page.

Steps to create page 6.

1) Cover the tabs or scallops with pattern paper and ink it's edges with distress ink.

2) Cover the middle of the page with a pink card stock. Ink it's edges with distress ink first.

3) Add the photograph the page.

4) Mat the quote onto a white card stock and ink it's edges with distress ink. Paste it to the page and use a black pen to doodle some faux stitches on it.

5) I've added a rub-on on the right of the page and use a paint marker to doodle on it.

6) Use the "Magic Mesh Flower" technique to create that flower and add a pattern paper covered chipboard triangle to it. I've also add some doodling and glossy accents to it too. Use a strip of rick rack to create the stem for the flower.

I'll be wrapping up the tutorials for the mini album very soon. Keep an eye for the rest of it.
