How do one hand stitch on acrylic? When we're hand stitching on papers, we would normally pre-poke the stitching holes first using something sharp and a crafting foam sheet underneath it. But this would be crazy if we try to do it on acrylic.
Recently, I've tried to come up with a way to do this. Instead of poking holes, I use punching. Just punch some holes in your stitching pattern and hand stitch away later. I use my big bite for punching on acrylics. You can use any kind of hole puncher that would work for acrylics. Try it!
I still need sometime to finish up some projects using the new CHA Clear Scraps goodies. I just can't wait to share it with you all.

I wish I could really think outside the box the way you do. I'll have to give this technique a try. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Irene, I've been reading your blog for a few months now and i've learned so much about this art from you! The stiching on acrylic is something I would never have even thought of... I should have known you could have found a way!
Thanks, Angelica
How fun, I did it on one of my acrylic albums (scrapbook.com=kanibee), but instead of hand sewing I put yellow ribbon through the holes. Just for the record your project came out way better then mine, lol. I used my eyelet setter to make the holes, though I've heard you can buy a tool at walmart that will make holes on anything, I gotta go check out walmart ;)
