Love Acrylic Layout

Hello friends! For this week's blog post, I would like to share an acrylic layout with you all. To create this layout, I've used an XL shaped acrylic piece by Clear Scraps as the base for it. I wanted to create a floating effect for this layout therefore, I've left some of the acrylic base uncovered and see through.

Here are some details on it.

I've stamped some branches and flourishes using some solvent ink on the layout and later add some flowers and crystals to it.

To add more elements to it, I've used some chipboard embellishment which I've painted and sprayed on for some colors and textures. For details, I've added some jewels, ribbon and brads to it. I've also stamped some butterflies and cut them out to add it to the layout.

To distress the paper flowers, I've lightly misted them with some paint. I've also stamped some flowers and flourishes on the pattern paper and cut them out to use it. For more sparkle, I've randomly add some crystals around the flowers.

Hope you all like this layout and see you all again soon!

Pins And Needles Holders

Happy Friday! This week I would like to share a different kind of project with you all. I've created a couple of pins and needles holders using some pattern papers, foams and some fabrics.

First of all, I've created a vintage shoe shaped holder. I've used some pattern papers to create the basic shape and added a fabric covered foam in the middle of it to hold the pins and needles. Below is a close-up of it.

I've then, decorated it with lace, buttons, ribbons, flower, pearls and butterfly.

I've also created another circle shaped holder.

This is just a basic circle shaped holder. I did not use any pattern paper in creating this holder. Just a foam and some fabric, lace, pearls and flowers.

Hope you all like today's project and see you all again next week.

Memories Forever Layout

Hello fellow crafters and friends! It's another Friday here. For today's post, I would like to share a layout which brings back a lot of memories for me.The photograph featured in this layout had been taken while we were on a vacation in Japan. The feeling of getting lost and being adventurous in an unfamiliar environment or place is the best experience that you can get while travelling. I think I really need another vacation trip to take away all this stress I have in me right now.

Now, let's move on to the layout itself. I've used tons of products by BoBunny to create this layout. I've used several mixed media techniques to create this layout.

Here are more close-ups on the details.

To create these dimensional bubbles or circles, I've used several glitter paste with a circle stencil by BoBunny. To make the colors more interesting and well blended, I've misted some paint on it too.

For the title, I've used a chipboard expression and painted it with some paint and detailed with some glitter paste.

To add some different elements to this layout, I've used some metal brads to decorate the layout.

This is such a fun layout to create and I hope it gives a little inspiration to you in your next project. Thank you for dropping by and see you all again soon!

Remember When Acrylic Card

Hello friends! I'm so sorry that I've not posted here last week. I've been under the weather for more than a week now. I'm stress out on between kids exams and some kids matters. I just hope all this will be over soon and I could get back to my norm.

Since this last week I've been dealing with tons of kids matters, I think by sharing this card would lift me up a bit in spirit. This is a card which I've created using some products by Clear Scraps. I've used the Fancy Send It Clear card by Clear Scraps as the base for this card.

Here are more close-ups on this card.

I've used some Copic markers to highlight the edges of the acrylic card to make it visible but still has the translucent effect.

As a mom, there are so many hurdles that we have to jump and so many obstacles that we have to overcome when raising our child. We can get very angry, sad and disappointed during these moments. But I do always remind myself, every children started off as a blank canvas and how they handle things might be following your foot steps. Therefore, I believe a good mom should have at least the ability to listen to them and have faith in them. This is just a little tip from me to all moms out there.

I hope you all like today's project and see you all again soon!
