Water Effect on Acrylic!

Wonder how you can create a watery effect on your acrylic surfaces? I've actually created the above simple ATC for Clear Scraps's technique showcase during this Winter CHA. It's actually very easy to create the above effect. It's all about using Glossy Accents!

Cover a layer of glossy accents on top of the acrylic surface and later use a scrap paper to smudge it while it's still wet. The more glossy accents that you apply, the more dramatic the effect will be. When it's dry, Ink the back of the ATC with some blue tones and silver alcohol ink. Voila! there you have it! The water effect!

This is a post that I've scheduled before I leave for the USA. I hope you all enjoyed it!

wow, that's amazing. I was thinking about stamping a fish or swimming frog on the back of the acrylic too. Guess what I will be doing tonight?

Thanks for the tip. Love this look. Let me be the first to say: "Welcome to the USA" We are thrilled that you are coming. I'm just sad that I'm on the other side of the country and won't be able to come see you. Enjoy your time here.
