Our Story Wood Frame

Hello friends! For today's project, I would like to share an altered wood frame which I've altered. This is will be used as a home decor. I've used Clear Scraps "Our Story" wood frame to create this project.

Below are some details on it.

I've used dimensional paste with Clear Scraps butterfly mascil to create some fine details on this frame.

I've painted the frame with white acrylic paint. Besides that, I've also used a chipboard flourish by Clear Scraps to decor the rectangular frame above. To add color to it, I've used some distress paint and the same butterfly mascil earlier.

There is also a heart shape frame on this wood frame. I've also painted it white and later decorate it with some stickers and flowers. 

I've used some sentiments to decorate the three frames on this decor. You can also used photographs instead on these frames. This will further personalize it to suit your home.

The Faithfulness Layout

Hi everyone! It has been a while since I've shared a layout on Hiro. Therefore, for today's post, I've decided to share a layout on him here. Hiro is already 8 years old now. Still active and cheeky.... LOL!

This is a published layout some time ago. I've used tons of products by BoBunny to create this layout. I've also used a huge acrylic snowflake piece by Clear Scraps to layer behind the photograph.

Below are some details on this layout.

To make the acrylic snowflake more visible, I've painted the edges with some white gesso and add some glitters on it.

I've used a words stencil by Clear Scraps to create the title of this layout. To create more depth to the layout, I've also used some snowflake stencil to create the design on the background of this layout. Besides that, I used some snowflake stamps to add more intricate details to it.

I've used various die cuts, chipboard pieces, jewels, lace and flower to create the cluster on the right of the layout.

Dad Card

Hi friends! Father's Day is fast approaching and have you thought of creating a card? For today's post, I've created a card using tons of Petaloo flowers and Maja Design papers. I tried to keep it simple but with a touch of warm romantic feel to it.

Below are some closer look on this card.

I used a series of teal tone flowers to create the cluster on top of a piece of burlap.

Sunshine Layout

Happy Friday everyone! For today's project, I would like to share a layout which I've created using tons of Petaloo and Clear Scraps products. This layout is created based on the photograph featured on it. It is a photograph of my kids and nieces playing on the beach.

I tried to create a different summer themed layout without using the normal warm sunshine colors. Instead, I've tried to portray the colors of ocean and beach on it but using teal and beige.

I used tons of seashells and pearls to further enhance the beach or ocean look.

Beside pearls, I've also used micro beads to create the sandy look on this layout. Using heavy white gesso to create bubbles will add more textures to this layout. I also use a circle mascil and sunshine expression from Clear Scraps on this layout. I painted the expression white. 

This is a very fun and heavy textured based layout to create. Hope you all could find some inspirations here and start playing. Have a great weekend and see you all again soon!
