Stepping down from Swirlydoos

Hi everyone! Today has been a little sad but bittersweet day. It has finally come to the day that I'm going to stop designing for Swirlydoos. It has been five years since I started designing for them in 2009. Well, I guess all things will come to an end someday.

But on the other hand, I have some great news to share soon. Keep an eye for it!

Cherish Misc Me

Today I would like to share with you all another two pages of my 12 x 12 Misc Me featuring BoBunny Primrose collection.

It is so easy and fun scrapping using the Misc Me pockets. I called it "Working in Layers".  I know that some of you've have emailed me and asked about working using these pockets. I'll be sharing a very simple tutorial on how I normally work on mine soon. Keep an eye for it!

ZVA Creative May DT Blog Hop!

Happy Monday to you! ZVA Creative and our talented Design Team welcome you to our May blog hop! We are very excited to kick off  a new blog hop and have you join us today. We hope you are inspired by all of the beautiful work that we are about to share!

This month I'm sharing with you a layout using Kaisercraft beautiful papers with tons of gorgeous ZVA Creative's flourishes.

On this layout, I've also used Clear Scraps acrylic circle and some beautiful Vilda Stamps stamps on this layout. The Petaloo flowers matched perfectly with pattern papers on this layout.

Always and Forever Card

This is a card which I've created sometime ago using Clear Scraps Bell Send It Clear Card. I've used one of BoBunny's old collection, "Enchanted" to decorate this card.

Here is picture inside this card.

I've added a journaling piece there. Using these "Send It Clear Cards", you can easily create an elegant and unique card for your someone special.

Today's layout is a layout created using Swirlydoos May kit. I've chosen the more feminine tones out of this kit for this layout.

Here are some close-ups.

To create the damask background, I've used a mascil by Clear Scraps with some gesso.

The sentiment stamp is by Vilda Stamps. I've colored all the cut-outs using Kaiserfusion markers.

Celebrate Life

This is a recent layout which I've created using BoBunny's Baby Bump collection. This layout is for the "layout with Noteworthy" assignment on BoBunny's blog.

For this assignment, I've used tons of Baby Bump's noteworthy pieces to layer all around the layout. To make them stand out, I've used black and white gel pens to outline them. I've also continued this design throughout the layout by outlining some of the designs on the background paper.

Hello everyone! I have a little news to share today. I will be joining Inkido's monthly challenge from this month onwards till end of the year. I've agreed to design for them once a month. Above is this month''s mood board challenge. You can see the details on this challenge at Inkido's blog.
