Here is my project for this blog hop.

Since Father's Day is just round the corner here in Malaysia, I've decided to create a layout which dedicates to all fathers out there. To create this layout, I've used the "Love Is In The Air" collection by 7 Dots Studio with some beautiful stamps by Vilda Stamps.

Here are some details on this layout.

In the close-up above, I've stamped the flourish stamp with Staz On onto an acrylic frame by Clear Scraps. Later, I've colored the frame and stamped images with Art Anthology. I've also use a mascil by Clear Scraps on the background of this layout.

Check out the verse stamp and the distressed stamp by Vilda Stamps in the picture above. On this layout, I've used a chipboard border by Blue Fern Studios too.

If you look closely on the picture above, I've used another distressed frame stamp behind the acrylic frame. All the crystals flourishes are by ZVA Creative and the flowers are by Petaloo.

Here are the stamps by Vilda Stamps used on this layout:

V341 (I Love Your More Today than Yesterday...)
V742 (Scrap & Mixed media Kit 2)
V741 (Scrap & Mixed media Kit 1)
V18 (Flowerswirl)

Hope you all like my layout today. Have fun continue hopping!!

As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals. If you like what you see along the hop you can find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva HERE.

Here is my project to share with you all today!
This layout is created using tons of ZVA Creative's crystal flourishes, single crystals and gorgeous pearl brads. I used Swirlydoos May Kit, "Au Naturale" to create this layout.

This layout is created on an acrylic circle base by Clear Scraps. I've also used a mascil by Clear Scraps to create part of the background. With the acrylic base, the crystals flourishes by ZVA Creative portray a floating effect on the layout.

I used some beautiful pearl brads by ZVA Creative to secure the flower layers onto the acrylic layout.

ZVA Creative Supplies Used:

BRBK-02CA-103 ( Pearl Brads (1/2") ), CRW-03CB-155 ( Basic Lines Crystal - Lime (0.8 cm)), CR-05CB-118 ( Flourishes- Lime/Olive Crystal ), CR-04CA-125 (Flourishes-Black)

Alcohol Ink Technique ATC

It's Monday again and today, I would like to show a published tutorial which I've done sometime ago. This technique is called the "Alcohol Ink Background Technique".

Here are the steps.

For this technique, you need to use a piece of glossy paper. Now, choose two alcohol ink colors and apply them to the glossy paper using an alcohol ink applicator. Turn your applicator when you apply the ink onto the paper to create the circular pattern.

The second step is to randomly drip another third color of alcohol ink onto the paper and follow by drips of alcohol blending solution. Let it dry completely.

After stamping some images using black solvent ink on the ATC, I've also attached a stamp on it. Then, I've inked the grungeboard frame with distress ink and attach it with brads onto the ATC. I've used a brush and some copper alcohol ink to paint on the edges of the frame. To distress the brads, I've painted it with Espresso alcohol ink.

Isn't this easy and simple? Hope this will inspire you to use your alcohol inks in more ways.
