Embossing Folder meets Metal

This is just a simple technique that some of you might have tried it but I just want to share how cool it is to use it with Tim Holtz Alterations Embossing Folders. In the sample above, I've simply just use a Ten Seconds Studios black metal sheet and run it through a Big Shot with the embossing folder. Then, I've lightly use a sanding block and sand on top of the embossed images.

You can use this piece as a background on any of your project or cut it into smaller pieces to make some embellishment. Why not try it with hid die-cuts? I should give that a try in my next project. Try this and I'm sure you'll love it!

I love the look of the embossed metal and then using alcohol ink to highlight the embossing. I really, really love the Tim Holtz embossing folders and so do my 5 and 7 year old grandchildren.
