Sweet Old Home Mini Album

This is a mini album of pictures of my old home. After we've moved, I really wanted something to remember our old home by. Therefore, I've taken some pictures of it before we moved and now making it into a mini album. I've used Clear Scraps acrylic house album with products from My Little Shoebox to create this mini album.

Below are some of the details on the cover of this mini album.

I've embossed an acrylic bird from Clear Scraps with and embossing folder and inked the embossed image with solvent ink.

I've used the "Add Little Beads on your Stitching" technique on the roofs' edges.

Here are some of the pages and it's details.
Page 1 and 2:

I've used some stamps from My Stamp Box to stamp the butterfly and dragonfly. I've also used some Stickles to decorate them.

To create the smoke on top of the chimney, I've used some stamps from My Stamp Box and some solvent ink to stamp on transparency.

Back Cover:
I've had tons of sweet memories in this old home. This is the place where I first live after I got married and the place where our family blooms from two person to four. The couch had been the family's favourite place and the small open kitchen had been the most busiest place when we were there....lol! We've really missed our old home but I guess life always goes on and some things need to change.

I just love how this house mini album works perfectly here. This mini album is so versatile. You could also use it for memories of a house in stages of constructions, a new home, a house warming gift, bringing a new baby home, or just simply scrapping about members of your home.

I'll be announcing the winner of my July stamp set tomorrow. Do check back to see if you're the lucky one! Good Luck!

  13. That's an adorable way to remember your last home. Seeing your many mini's and smaller albums brings a question to mind. Where and how do you keep/display everything so they can be enjoyed by others?

  17. Hi Sandi,

I have some shelves hanging on the wall to display them. The frames or picture shelves works great and don't take up a lot of space. Alternatively, you could hang them on clothes hooks. This will also be a great way to display them and take up very little space.

  20. I'm speechless (well not really) because I have to say Irene, this is one of my very favorite projects of yours. I also am a bit homesick for our old home and its memories, so I think you've motivated me to buy this acrylic album and do something similar. Thank you again for sharing all your incredible talent!
