Nature's Children

This is my first project using Queenscraps November Kit. I just love these pattern papers from Prima Marketing. This layout is about how much my kids love the nature. I'm so lucky to have captured this photograph while they're unaware. This is also my first circle layout.
Here are the steps to it.
1) Use the grey Bazzill card stock as the base for this page. Cut a huge circle of 12" in diameter from it. Distress the edges using the scissors distressing technique and ink it with black soot distress ink.
2) Cut another circle from the "Machiavelli" pattern paper (about 8" in diameter) using a scallop scissors. Ink the edges using frayed burlap distress ink. Paste it in the middle of the page.
3) Use a Bazzill Just the edge black card stock and paste it on the right of the page. Use a white and black pen and some liquid pearls to add details to it.
4) Punch some small circles from the "The Hunt" pattern paper to arrange on the upper half of the circle pattern paper and doodle some dots using a black pen.
5) Distress the photograph using the scissors distressing technique and hand stitch on the upper edge and right edges of it. Add a small punch out circle on the upper right corner of it.
6) Use the "Stitching in Spiral" technique to stitch on the lower left of the photograph.
7) To create the bigger flower , cut out a flower using any flower template (just use any normal flowers) from the "the Hunt" pattern paper (ink the edges using vintage photo distress ink), a medium flower from the "magenta" Bazzill card stock (ink the edges using black soot distress ink) and a small flower from the reverse side of "the Hunt" pattern paper. Curl the petals using scissors or twizzer and use some liquid pearls and stickles to embellish the middle of it.
8) For the smaller flower, cut a flower from the "the Hunt" pattern paper (ink the edges using frayed burlap distress ink) and a smaller flower from the magenta Bazzill card stock (ink the edges using black soot distress ink). Curl the petals using scissors or twizzer and use some liquid pearls and stickles to embellish the middle of it.
9) Stamp and heat embossed a butterfly on a black card stock and cut it out. Fold the wings and use a white pen to add details to it.
10) Use the journaling stamp (included in the kit) to stamp on the reverse side of "Inamorato" pattern paper and use some liquid pearls to embellish it. Mat it onto the magenta Bazzill card stock and cut it out. Ink the edges of the journaling box and the mat with black soot distress ink. Paste it on the lower left of the page.
11) Use a "My Little Yellow Bicycle - Vita Bella" Fresh Verse stickers and mat it onto the magenta Bazzill card stock and cut it out. Ink the edges with black soot distress ink and paste it on the bottom of the page.
This is a very fun layout for me as it's my first round layout. Hope you all like it!
