Pleasant Surprise (Swirlydoos)

Here's my first layout using Swirlydoos February kit, "Things Remembered". I've used some Clear Scraps acrylic stars and stamps by Stamp Enjoy on it. This is also a layout for a new DT that I've recently joined, Dusty Attic! I'll explained more on the details through the close-ups below.
In this close-up above, I've used some Clear Scraps acrylic stars to create the layers of stars. I've also used the new snowflake chipboard pieces by Dusty Attic. To create more layers, I've used some Stamp Enjoy stamps to stamp on the pattern papers and cut it out.

Here's another chipboard snowflake by Dusty Attic and an acrylic star by Clear Scraps. The pattern papers dress up the acrylic stars perfectly!

I really love the vintage feel of the papers in this kit. in the close-up above, I've cut out an image from the pattern paper to add it to the layout.

This is a hinge chipboard by Dusty Attic. I'll share the tip on creating this piece in another post.

Hope you all find this project inspiring and will start using your kit! I'll be sharing on the technique tip in tomorrow's post. Check back for it.
