This is a technique that I've used while creating my last project using Swirlydoos Nov kit. I've used some white acrylic paint and a brush to splatter or flick it onto the layout. You could also use the old time "toothbrush" technique where you dip the brush into some paint and use your finger to rub through the brush to create the splattering effect. It's a super easy technique to try on some of your winter projects this season! Have fun!
I love the effect...I used to use this technique when painting....but now I am going to try it out on my LO's!!! I adore your work!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding me of this technique! I've used it before but hadn't even thought of using it during the holidays as snow!
ReplyDeleteyes the splatter technique is great isnt it i adore using this in my art also it adds a bit of interest to a background or a bit of texture to a foreground. TFS
