Recently, I've got myself my very first cutting and embossing tool! The Cuttlebug!! It works amazingly on all Clear Scraps acrylics. Clear Scraps acrylics allows you to emboss on it. It's such a great tool to create a one of a kind textures or dimensions to your acrylic pieces.
In my example above, I've used an embossing folder with the Cuttlebug on a Clear Scraps mini. Isn't that cool? Later, I've inked it with alcohol ink and painted part of it using acrylic paint. These minis are just the perfect size for it.
If you want a chance to win some Clear Scraps acrylic minis to play with, participate in the blog candy that I'm having now. Here's the link to it. Good Luck!
Awesome tips!!! I've thought about buying a Cuttlebug but went with the Cricut instead. Now I want a Cuttle for sure!! :)

ReplyDeleteThis is really cool.
ReplyDeleteLove the antique gold & the emboss effect.
Irene, This is wonderful, I never would have thought of running acrylic through the (I have a Big Shot)Cuttlebug. Once again great idea. Now that you have a cuttlebug I can't wait to see what you do with it. I love it for making flowers. Sizzix has great flower dies and they should work in the Cuttlebug too. I use both in my Big Shot. Nestables too. Can't wait to see the rest of this project. Melissa
