Abundance

This is my fourth project using Queenscraps November Kit. It's a small page of Chloe which is intended to be framed as a gift for my mom.
Here are the steps.
1) Use the "Riviera" pattern paper as the base for this page. Ink the edges using vintage photo distress ink.
2) Cut out a rectangular piece from the yellow Bazzill card stock and distress the edges using scissors distressing technique. Ink it with vintage photo distress ink. Paste it in the middle of the page.
3) Ink the edges of the photograph using vintage photo distress ink. Paste it in the middle slightly to the lower left of the page.
4) Overlap the photograph with the Prima "Dress Up" transparency - Love (included in the kit). You can use some glue dots to attach it.
5) Cut out a corner frame from one of the My Little Yellow Bicycle - Vita Bella - Die-Cut Card stock (included in the kit) and enhance the details using a white, gold and black pen. Paste it on the lower left of the page. Hand stitch the gab between the corner strip with the photograph using some cross-stitches.
6) To create the flower on the middle left of the page, simply just use any flower template (you can use any flowers you have as a template) and cut out a flower from the "Michiavelli" pattern paper and ink it using brushed corduroy distress ink. Cut a smaller flower from the "Riviera" pattern paper and ink it using vintage photo distress ink. Curl all the petals and attach both flowers together and dress it up using some liquid pearls and stickles.
7) To create the flower on the lower left of the page, simply just use any flower template (you can use any flowers you have as a template) and cut out a flower from the "Gentlemen's Bet" pattern paper and ink it using black soot distress ink. Cut a medium flower from the "Riviera" pattern paper and ink it using vintage photo distress ink. Cut a smaller flower from the reverse side of the "Riviera" pattern paper. Curl all the petals and attach all the layers together. Add some liquid pearls and stickles to dress it up.
8) To create the flower on the lower right of the page, simply just use any flower template (you can use any flowers you have as a template) and cut out a flower from the "Michiavelli" pattern paper and ink it using vintage photo distress ink. Cut a smaller flower from the "the Hunt" pattern paper and ink it using brushed corduroy distress ink. Curl all the petals and attach both flowers together and dress it up using some liquid pearls and stickles.
9) Mat a My Little Yellow Bicycle - Vita Bella - Fresh Verse stickers onto the grey Bazzill card stock and ink it with black soot distress ink. Paste it on the lower right corner of the page.
10) To create the butterfly, stamp a butterfly using solvent ink onto the reverse side of "the Hunt" pattern paper (first layer) and onto the yellow Bazzill Card stock (second layer). Highlight the stamped image using a white pen and some liquid pearls. Fold the wings of the second layer and attach both layers together in the middle.
11) Add a ribbon bow (use the Prima ribbon included in the kit) on the upper left of the page and doodle some dots using liquid pearls on part of the transparency overlapping the photograph.
This is a very fast project. Hope you all like it.

  7. I have such a hard time getting my comments onto your blog from out of town where I am at the moment, I wanted to comment on several pieces you have made and the one you have made and will frame as a gift for your mother.

You work is just awe inspiring to me. I can't get enough of it. You are perfection in all areas. So much work and art put into each piece to make them one of a kind and so very very special.

Thank you so much for sharing with all of us.
