This is a card that I've created for a friend's birthday and had been published in a magazine recently.
Here are the steps to it.
1) I've drawn various circles on a brown card stock and cut out the flower shaped base for the card. I've randomly stamped and heat embossed on the scallops.
2) Then I've added a circle pattern paper which I've stamped and inked, in the center of the card.
3) I've used a semi-circle paper doiley which I've inked and heat embossed to layer on the lower half of the card. (Tip: only apply adhesives on the edges of the paper doiley to create a pocket)
4) The flourishes had been stamped and heat embossed on a black card stock and cut it out to be attached to the card.
5) I've added some flowers to the card for dimensions and softness. A circle tag had been created to be inserted into the pocket.
6) Lastly, I've just punched a hole on the top and added an eyelet and cord to make it into a hanging card.
