In Russia!!

This is just a picture that I've taken while at the Red Square. I've had such an experience travelling around the city of Mscow with their Metro system which is totally a separate underground city itself. Lots of gorgeous architecture and surrroundings.
I'll start teaching today and can't wait to meet some of my Russian readers there!! I'll post more when I get the chance.
Have a great weekend!

At 21 Weeks!

Do you have a pup that hates mushy food? Hiro seems to prefer food that are solid and hard. We've tried giving him some dog can food which smells so much tastier than the dry kibbles but he is not interested in it. He just lick on it for a few times and then walk away. I guess he is a one that does not like mushy or wet food.

We've also realized that he is one that likes a clean environment. If he poops in his room in the middle of the night, he will bark till someone goes and clean it up. My hubby is the one that will wake up and clean it. He complains about it all the time...lol!

At this moment, I'm still in Moscow. Today, will be the first day of my classes. It should be a fun day. I'll try to post some pictures if I could get online. If not, I'll post with when I get back.

Scrapbooking Supplies R Us will be having another giveaway in conjunction with my project. I'll post about it when I get back. Keep an eye for it. Have an awesome weekend!

100% Concentration

I'm currently in Russia but I've pre-schedule this post for all of you who visits here daily. This is my last project using Swirlydoos September kit.

Here are the steps to it.

1) Use a pattern paper as the base for this layout. Distress it's edges using the scissors distressing technique and ink it with distress ink.

2) Cut out a huge rectangular piece from a pattern paper and distress it's edges. Attach it to the middle of the layout. Add some border rub-ons to the upper edge and on the bottom. Cut out another strip from another pattern paper and distress it's edges. Add it at the bottom of the earlier piece.

3) Cut out a huge circle using a deco scissors from the pattern paper and ink it's edges with distress ink. Attach it to the middle of the layout. Hand stitch of cross stitches randomly all around the circle.

4) Distress the edges of the photograph and tear in on it's upper left and hand stitch some random stitches on it. Ink it with distress ink and add it on top of the rectangular piece.

5) Add a strip of lace on the right of the layout. Apply the medallion rub-on onto a piece of cardstock and cut it out. Add it on top of the lace using foam adhesives and detail it with dew drops and pearl butterfly.

6) Cut out another small circle from the pattern paper and ink it's edges with distress ink. Add it to the lower left of the photograph.

7) Ink the die-cut fence with some distress ink and add it on the lower right of the layout. Also add some swirly pearls and roses to it. Add some swirly pearls on the upper right of the layout too.

8) Randomly add some dew drops and small roses all around the circle. Cut out some butterflies from the pattern paper and ink their edges with distress ink. Attach them around the small circle and dress them up with dew drops and glossy accents.

9) Paint the chipboard "100 and /" with acrylic paint and form the "100%" using it and some dew drops. Print the word "Concentration" onto cardstock and cut it out. Ink it's edges with distress ink and mat it using the pattern paper. Add it to the page using foam adhesives.

There you have it. My last project for Swirlydoos September kit. I won't be designing with their October kit but will be designing using their November kit. So, keep checking back for more Swirlydoos goodies when I'm able to get to it after my trip to Russia. If I have the chance to get online in Russia, I'll post some pictures.

Off To Russia!

Today I'm off to Moscow, Russia!! I'm so excited as this is my first time there. I can't wait to see all the amazing structures and sights. I would never have thought that my scrapbooking career would bring me this far and gave me some great opportunities to see the world.

I'm also very excited to meet with all my Russian blog readers. I hope we would have a blast during the classes! I think one thing that I can't resist while there is to get myself some Russian dolls. Love them!

I'll get you all posted about my trip there whenever I can get online. I've also set some pre-scheduled post here so that you all would still be able to play along with some tutorials while I'm gone.

Pages In Time is having a DT call! For those of you who are interested, check out more about it here. Have Fun! Удачи!
