Using Temporary Tattoo in your layouts

I've always love those unique and beautiful tattoos designs and are always tempted to use it in my layout designs. Recently, in my latest layout titled "Dancing Sticks" in my family gallery, I've tried to use a temporary tattoo on a tag.

I've just applied the temporary tattoo as per directions on the wrapper to the tag and I love it. So if next time you see a temporary tattoo that you love and don't dare to use it on you, why not on your layout?

Distress using "Tear in" and "Water" techniques

Recently, in my latest layout, I've used another two techniques to create a distressed look on a tag. I've used the "tear in " and the "water" technique.

First of all, I've used a very wet sponge to wet the paper and let it dry. The water stains on the paper really gives a really good distressed look.

Secondly, I've tear in on parts of the edges and folded some of the tear ins to create and even distress look.

Thirdly, I've crinkled the paper by scrunching it.

Lastly, I've inked it with some distress ink.

I totally love this effect and I hope to share it here with all my fellow blog readers!

Stonehenge Love {Miniature Address Album}

This is a miniature address album that I've created on all the members in a COF that I'm in. I've used the theme colours of pink and brown here. The photographs above were taken before I've added the details of each scrappers in there. It's a fun project to do and this is my first hands on a real miniature album. My last postcard mini album was actually sort of a medium sized album rather than a true mini album.

Birthday Card ( using Mesh)

This is a birthday card that I've made for a friend. I've used a mesh here to create a metal look to it. It's a flip open card where I've secured it using a brown silk cord. All words here are hand written.

Birthday Card (Rich Look)

This is a birthday card that I've made for a friend. I've used various earth tones ribbons and a gold ribbon to soften the look. I've used a large heart stencil to do the stenciling here. The small heart and the flower are attached using some foam tapes to give a little dimension to the card. It's quite a simple card that has a rich look .
