We're hoping for a miracle that he would come back home. I know this is very rare in husky as they are known to run off and might not be able to find their way home. Help me to pray for this miracle! We're all kind of down at this moment but I know that life goes on. If he does not come back, I do hope someone with a kind heart had found him and taking good care of him! We will always miss you, Hiro!!!

I felt SICK when I saw this in my blog reader. I LOVE Hiro and know how horrible it is to have a pet go missing. You all are in my prayers for Hiro's safe return - or, as you said, a good new home if you do not find him!

Don't give up hope our dog was missing for 4 days once and we got him back. We posted signs all over town. THoughts and prayers going out to you, I know how scarey and painful it is.

Irene - I'm so sorry. It hurts to lose a dog.I know this feeling perfectly. I have miniature schnauzer. My dog has a fantastic character and we love them so much, but he is constantly escapes from the house. He runs so quickly that I lose sight of him and constantly I seek him.
VIP is still with us but already I do not know how long...

OMG, Irene! your family must be heart-sick! At first, I thought you post header was a intro into something funny (hide and seek, etc), but this isn't funny. I know what it's like to lose a beloved pet. Hiro has become a part of us, in a way, because you have shared so much of his life with us. I hope and pray that Hiro is found soon and is back in your loving arms again. This saddens me so much.

OMG Irene, I did not want to open your blog when I read the title..................that is just so sad............CYBER prayers coming your way, the loss of a pet is just as hard as the loss of a family member because they are your family! Very sad. Put out flyers in your grocery stores, etc. Don't know if you have animal control or a shelter there, if so they should be contacted and you should give them your contact information.
My dog is micro chipped and if anything happens she would be scanned and we would be notified. It's a very simple and painless procedure.
I hope you find Hiro. If dogs are left outside for a very long time they get bored and will find a way to get out.

I know Huskies are very independent, but if you were a strong presence in his life, and I know you were, he will find his way back to you.
